Health & Safety — Events & Catering
To ensure you have a safe and stress-free event, we’ve implemented the following measures as advised by our health and government experts. Here’s an overview of what to expect:
Staff Masks & Uniforms
All staff are now required to wear face masks as soon as they enter the venue or catering site. Uniforms and masks will be laundered after every shift.
Staff Health & Safety
Before coming to work, every employee must complete the COVID-19 pre-shift questionnaire to ensure they are fit to work. Any employee who is experiencing symptoms, has traveled outside of Canada, or has come into contact with a positive or suspected case of COVID-19 will be required to stay home from work for a minimum of 14 days.
Physical Distancing
Upon entering the venue or catering site, guests will be directed by onsite signage to ensure proper physical distancing. Guests who are not from the same household will be spaced two meters apart at tables. Tables will be spaced two metres apart, and staff will maintain an appropriate distance from each other and from guests wherever possible.
Group Sizes
We will limit our venue capacities in accordance with the most recent public health protocols.
Enhanced Sanitation Protocols
Hand sanitizer is available for guests and staff at all entrances of the venue. Frequent touch points are sanitized at regular intervals. Every employee is required to wash their hands for 20 seconds upon entering the venue, as well as throughout their shift. Following each event, the room will be fully cleaned and sanitized, with all touch points, tables and chairs being wiped down.
Washroom Access
We will limit the number of guests permitted in a washroom at a time, in order to maintain distancing between guests. A washroom attendant will be in each washroom to sanitize surfaces after each use and to assist guests with distancing.
Vendors & Delivery Drivers
Signage will be posted for all vendors arriving onsite to inform them again of our safety standards for the venue. All vendors and delivery drivers are required to wear a mask and use hand sanitizer before entering the venue, as well as maintain a physical distance of two metres from all staff and guests. All of our vendors will be required to complete our safety compliance checklist in order to enter our venues, which includes monitoring their staff for symptoms as well as sanitation protocols. We will work with our venues and landlords to establish sanitation protocols for loading docks to ensure that buttons are wiped down after each use.
Staying in Contact
We are actively keeping track of contact information for all event guests, so we can easily get in touch in the unlikely event that a staff member or guest becomes ill.
