About Oliver and Bonacini



Peter Oliver and Michael Bonacini formed their partnership in 1993. Peter, then a successful Toronto restaurateur, was first motivated to enter the business by a passionate conviction that he could serve a better lunch than any he received during his career as a commercial real estate entrepreneur. Michael Bonacini was a young chef from South Wales, having cut his culinary teeth in the most demanding kitchens of London before moving to Toronto as Executive Chef of the Windsor Arms. The connection between Oliver and Bonacini was instantaneous: they both shared an obsession for quality, service and innovation.
