OUR COMPANY

Oliver & Bonacini is the creation of Peter Oliver and Michael Bonacini, partners who first teamed up in 1993 to open Bay Street’s now legendary Jump. Since then, Oliver & Bonacini has come to be recognized as one of Canada's leading restaurant, events and catering companies, operating a portfolio of unique and innovative restaurants and event venues. Included are Canoe, one of Canada’s most celebrated dining experiences, Auberge du Pommier, serving impeccable French cuisine for over 30 years, Biff’s Bistro, a modern Parisian eatery and Luma, a stylish restaurant and bar lounge in the TIFF Bell Lightbox. O&B also offers mid-range casual fare. Oliver & Bonacini Café Grill has locations in Bayview Village, Blue Mountains, Oakville and downtown Toronto at Yonge and Front Streets.  O&B Canteen and Bannock both provide dine-in and grab & go options.
 
In 2016, Oliver & Bonacini partnered with Saks Fifth Avenue to bring forward two unique concept restaurants: Beaumont Kitchen at CF Sherway Gardens, serving comfort cuisine, and Leña at CF Eaton Centre, spearheaded by Corporate Executive Chef Anthony Walsh. The company also expanded westward to Calgary, opening The Guild and an accompanying lower level lounge, Sub Rosa.

In May 2017, Oliver & Bonacini and Chef Anthony Walsh launched the long-awaited Bar George at Le Mount Stephen, a boutique hotel and national historic site. Located in the heart of downtown Montréal, Bar George serves playful U.K. fare spiked with Québécois humour.

The company's private dining, events and catering division, Oliver & Bonacini Events and Catering, manages a number of large-scale event facilities, including The Carlu, Malaparte at TIFF Bell Lightbox, Toronto Region Board of Trade, Arcadian, and Aperture Room, located in the historic Thornton-Smith Building. Most recently, O&B Events unveiled its newest venue, Hudson, located on the sixth floor of Calgary's heritage Hudson's Bay building.
 
With further expansion ahead, Oliver & Bonacini's standards of food and service excellence remain the main focus of the company’s vision.
